R&D Senior Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop new products which is business related develop requirements with Customer and R&D Global Team.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling production and supervising the production process. Directly responsible for managing all production line employees, and production line staffs.
  • Improve existing products manufacturing with better production efficiency and cost reduction and maximum levels of profitability for the company.
  • Implements new process technology in terms of process and materials and products in line with expectations of company and guideline from R&D Manager which is already in the pipeline.
  • Initiative to find out new technics and materials to support the factory and overall products range with proper coordinate actions together external supplier and internal team
  • Delegate a day-to-day test engineering job to test engineers, technicians and daily support.
  • Evaluate factors that affects test setup throughput and provide ideas in resolving the issues to improve the test setup performance and testing yields.
  • Process control by 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method)
  • Optimization of test setup to achieve production requirement.
  • Research and develop new testing concept and technology, apply testing development and testing automation improvement.
  • Ensures the availability of all documentations pertaining to test engineering operation and production test executions (e.g. OI, Test Plans, Test Setup Diagrams, Test Coverage, Cpk Analysis, Guidelines and Work Instruction Procedures, etc.).
  • Immediate collective action in the production line if fond criteria testing issue and solve test function problem that happened in production line
  • Responsible to manage the project each time with proper time frame and target.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Test Engineering or in electronics industry.
  • Fluency in Japanese, English and Thai, both written and spoken, requires Japanese language proficiency test level N2 or N1 level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-cultural communication focus to Top Management Team (Global team).
  • Organizational skills including meeting coordination, document preparation, and taking minutes
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Able to Visit customers upcountry.
