HR BUSINESS PARTNER MANAGER
HR Business Partner Manager plays a key role in executing HR strategies and People Management practices aligned with HQ, Division and local entity business goals. This includes Organization Structure, People planning & movement across all employee life cycle, Performance and Leadership/Capability Development including Talent Management. As a trusted advisor and management team member, the role collaborates closely with factory leadership team, and Division HR occasionally.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to develop strategic people agenda i.e. organization design, movement from acquisition, utilization, development and retention including succession planning action implementation
- Attract, retain, and develop talent and employees of all functions. Oversee performance management processes
- Co-generate and execute succession plans and career development initiatives to ensure a robust talent pipeline to support growth of business and people’s careers
- Actively support HR Leadership and management team to enable further organizational development, including driving continuous leadership development
- Facilitate organizational and people development, as well as organizational change as needed, to drive business performance
- Assess training needs and co-develop comprehensive training programs together with the Factories/HR Operations & Services to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports people engagement, employee experiences and well-being including prospective compliance/culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other related fields
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a first-line/mid-level management of HRM/HRD; Talent Acquisition and HROD, C&B preferably from Multi-national Company work environments
- Strong knowledge of HRBP practices, labor laws and regulations
- Strong computer literacy & sense of data analysis (especially MS Office, Work Efficiency Application and/or HRIS programs)
- Excellent verbal & written communications (preferred English, Japanese is a plus), people development and stakeholder management are preferred
